Ozflytes newest creation “The R18″ – has been designed along the lines of an Ocean Racing Ski, but to the specs of a SLSA approved ski. The R18 is 5.8m long has a reduced rocker and is extremely fast. It has been designed for distance racing and is the perfect ski for a race like the GOLD.

The R18 is perfect all round ski. Comparable to elite Ocean Skis in downwind conditions, fast on the flat and offers stability due to the deep seat. It comes standard with a fully adjustable leg length system, speedwell venturi, optional color scheme.

Alternatively this ski can be made lighter if you do not want to race in SLSA events and can be produced at 13.5-14kg.

As are Ozflyte skis the R18 is no exception. 100 % Vacuum Infused to produce stiff, light surf life saving skis and 100% made in Australia.

Design started in 2010 with the prototype winning the AORS 6m class. Since then it has taken shape to what we have launched – The R18.
